Business Analyst

A world renowned and much loved publishing business have briefed Balance Recruitment on a Business Analyst role to support the European Controller on month end reporting and decision support. This role will also provide business critical insight to the parent company as well as support the Sales Directors on budgets and forecasts.

• Supervise the provision of relevant, timely and accurate financial and commercial information/analysis for regular divisional and group reporting
• Prepare annual Customer Profitability analysis
• Reconciliation of monthly trade marketing spend with various sales teams
• Support the development of improved forecasting / analysis / general processes.
• Support the European Controller in aspects of their role as required.
• Support the Sales Director in their monthly overheads review, and provide a commentary on material variances.
• Preparation of sales overheads for the quarterly forecast and budget in conjunction with the sales director
• Performing strategic overhead analysis
• Prepare sales reforecast and budgets including agreeing intercompany sales between group companies
• Reconciliation of monthly trade marketing spend with sales team
• Implement process improvements across relevant areas
• Ad Hoc projects

This role would suit either a newly qualified ACA from a top tier practice looking for a step into industry or a qualified accountant ACCA/CIMA with Industry experience looking to progress at a newly qualified level.
